Emily Haines winemaker at Terra d'Oro creates epic exploration series wines in Amador!
With tricks from her maiden wine voyage in Washington state, TdO winemaker Emily Haines creates extended masceration Barbera. This means the grape skins are left on the juice for 90 days instead of the normal 3-4 weeks.
Barbera Festival signs contract to stay with Terra d'Oro Winery. As the first winery to plant Brabera in Amador county, the TdO venue is the best choice to host the Barbera Festival. Over 80 wineries and 6 food trucks participate.
